Why Choose

GEYA Type B RCD

The Residual-Current Device (RCD) or Residual-Current Circuit Breaker (RCCB) is a safety device that can protect us from electric shocks caused by leaks or poor wiring. These fundamentals can be lifesavers and crucial rules at times.

• Building lighting systems with leakage current, residual current, overload, and shock protection are important
• Distribution systems ensure protection during installation for operator safety
• Can be applied to EV charger
• Can be applied to solar panels
• Can be applied to the solar inverter

Differences Between

RCD and RCCB

When it comes to safety devices, the difference between a residual current device (RCD) and a residual circuit breaker (RCCB) is insignificant. However, the RCD, on the other hand, serves only one purpose, but the RCCB serves two (current device and breaker system).

RCD For Solar PV System

  • Rated current: 24/40/63A
  • Rated frequency: 50-60HZ
  • Rated voltage: 230/400V
  • Number of poles: 2/4 poles
  • Insulation voltage: up to 500V
  • Rated impulse withstand voltage: 6KV
  • Mechanical life: 4000 times

GYL9 Type B RCCB For PV-Solar Systems

GYL9 Type B Residual Current Circuit Breaker (RCCB)(without overload protection) is suitable for rated voltage 230V at two poles, 400V at four poles, and set to 63 Ampere rate. The residual current action circuit breaker can quickly cut off the fault power supply to protect the safety of the human body and electrical equipment when a person is electric shocked or the grid leakage current exceeds the specified value(30mA, 100mA or 300mA). The same power supply cut off methodology is also applied for infrequent circuit switching and infrequent motor starting.

The product is not only suitable for sinusoidal AC residual current and pulsed DC residual current but also for residual current devices that can ensure trip at the following currents:

— Sinusoidal AC residual current AC of 1000Hz or less;

— Alternating residual current superposition smooth DC residual current;

— Pulsating DC residual current superposition smoothing DC residual current;

— Pulsating DC residual current generated by a two-phase or multiphase rectifier circuit;

— Smoothing residual DC current.

More About

PV Solar System Protection Type B RCCB

RCCB is the secret that makes charging points much safer than standard charging points. Of course! We are talking about type B RCCB. It has numerous security gadgets that deal with all expected leftover flow and shield clients from likely electric shock.

This is also suitable as a protective measure for safeguarding through the automatic disconnection of the power supply.

Additional Reasons for Using Type B Residual-Current Circuit Breaker

With all of the importance mentioned above, it also has a few more popular purposes that we should not overlook, such as:

— Easy installation and quick on-off features;

— Not only does it inhibit direct current contraction, but it also protects us against indirect contraction.;

— It offers portable features, is small in size, and occupies minimal workspace;

— Depending on the installation location and surrounding conditions, the RCCB device may be necessary to test voltage and alert us in real-time.
