Description
Product Overview
GEYA LR2-D13 Thermal Overload Relay is a highly reliable electrical protection device designed for AC motor overload and phase break protection in circuits operating at 50Hz/60Hz, with voltages up to 660V. Engineered with a precision differential mechanism and built-in temperature compensation, this thermal relay ensures optimal safety, prevents motor damage, and extends the longevity of your industrial motor control systems.
Key Advantages & Applications
Designed for versatility and industrial durability, the LR2-D13 series is an essential component for motor protection in automation, HVAC, manufacturing, and general electrical control panels. It actively monitors the current drawn by the motor and safely interrupts the circuit if an overload or phase failure is detected.
- Temperature Compensation: Maintains accurate tripping characteristics even when ambient temperatures fluctuate between -5°C and +40°C.
- Phase Failure Protection: Rapidly detects phase loss to prevent motor winding damage caused by single-phasing.
- User-Friendly Interface: Includes a clear motion indication window, a test button for circuit verification, and selectable manual or automatic reset modes.
- Seamless Integration: Perfectly matches with GLC1-09~32 and CJX2 (LC1-D) series contactors for compact plug-in installation, or can be DIN-rail/panel mounted independently using the dedicated LA7-1064 base.
Normal Operating & Installation Conditions
- Altitude: Not exceeding 2000m.
- Ambient Temperature: -5°C to +40°C (Average temperature within 24 hours must not exceed +35°C).
- Atmospheric Conditions: Relative humidity should not exceed 50% at +40°C. Higher humidity is permissible at lower temperatures (e.g., 90% at +25°C).
- Mounting Inclination: The inclination of the mounting surface to the vertical must not exceed 5°.
- Environment: Pollution class 3. Must be installed in non-explosive media free from corrosive gases, conductive dust, rain, and snow.
