Description

GYL9-AC Type AC RCCB

The GEYA GYL9-AC is a Type AC residual current circuit breaker for sinusoidal AC residual-current detection. Use it where Type AC protection is specified after assessing the connected loads and applicable installation requirements.

Residual-Current Coverage

The published Type AC scope is limited to sinusoidal alternating residual currents.

Selection Boundary

Confirm the expected residual-current waveform before selection. If it falls outside the published Type AC scope, select a residual-current type that matches the assessed waveform.

Ratings and Configuration

Catalogue options include 230/240 V or 400/415 V, 16 to 100 A across nine listed current ratings, 30/100/300 mA, and 1P+N or 3P+N. Available combinations depend on the selected order configuration; contact GEYA for the complete ordering matrix.

Installation and Service Data

  • TH35-7.5 DIN-rail mounting and IP20 degree of protection
  • 2.5 N·m terminal tightening torque
  • 1-35 mm² conductor capacity
  • Dual-busbar wiring and residual-current fault indication
  • 10,000 mechanical and 4,000 electrical operating cycles

Protection Coordination

The GYL9-AC is an RCCB for residual-current protection. Coordinate separate overload and short-circuit protection for the circuit.

Reference Standards and Catalogue

The GYL9 catalogue lists IEC/EN 61008-1 and GB/T 16916.1 as reference standards. Review the GYL9 catalogue and confirm the required order configuration with GEYA.
