Description
The GY-SVG-SiC Silicon Carbide Static Var Generator is a next-generation power quality solution utilizing advanced SiC power devices. It delivers ultra-efficient, real-time reactive power compensation, three-phase unbalance correction, and neutral-line filtering with a peak efficiency of over 98.5%. Ideal for demanding industrial and commercial grids, it ensures dynamic voltage stabilization with a transient response under 50 µs, making it the ultimate choice for modern electrical networks.
Working Principle
Using Silicon Carbide (SiC) power devices as the core, the GY-SVG-SiC connects a voltage source converter (VSC) to the power grid via an LCL filter in parallel. Its working principle is to dynamically and accurately compensate for reactive power in the grid system by adjusting the amplitude and phase of the output voltage on the AC side of the converter. The transient response time is less than 50 µs, and the full response time is less than 10 ms, thereby completely avoiding over-compensation and under-compensation.
Key Performance Highlights
✔ SiC Power Devices & 30kHz Frequency
Utilizes the higher voltage withstand capability of SiC components. The 30kHz high switching frequency control algorithm minimizes output ripple current and maximizes dynamic response speed.
✔ DSP+CPLD Full-Digital Control
Features a three-level topology, advanced reactive power detection algorithm, and precise PWM control strategy for ultimate accuracy.
✔ High Power Density & Scalability
Reduced module losses lead to a peak efficiency of ≥ 98.5%. A single cabinet can accommodate up to 8 modules, achieving a massive maximum capacity of 800 kvar.
✔ Dual External CT Channels
Supports versatile compensation modes, including low-voltage side sampling with low-voltage side compensation, and reactive component compensation.
✔ Superior Filtering & Unbalance Correction
Neutral line zero-sequence current filtering capacity is 3 times that of the phase line. Unbalance degree after compensation is reduced to ≤ 5%.
✔ Robust Reliability & EMC Class A
Supports 100% current-limiting output for long-term stable operation. Simplifies thermal design and meets Class A test standards for both RE and CE.
