Description
GY-AVC-PLUS Unified Power Quality Control Device Overview
The GY-AVC-PLUS is a Unified Power Quality Control Device mainly consisting of a rectifier, inverter, compensating transformer, monitoring system and AC/DC distribution, supporting AC220V and AC380V grids with rated capacity from 30kVA to 500kVA. This comprehensive power quality control device integrates voltage sag (-40%) control, voltage swell (+30%) control, reactive power compensation, harmonic compensation and three-phase unbalance compensation, improving grid power quality while ensuring stable power supply to the load and avoiding economic losses caused by voltage fluctuations for production users.
Working Principle
The device combines a rectifier and inverter with a series compensating transformer under real-time monitoring. When the grid voltage deviates, it regulates the compensation voltage to correct sag and swell conditions, while the power electronic stage provides reactive, harmonic and three-phase unbalance compensation. When equipment fails, it can seamlessly switch to the power grid so that the load power supply does not flash off.
Key Features
- Stepless Regulation — new power electronics technology, high accuracy, wide range, no flicker during regulation.
- Modular Design — small footprint and easy to maintain.
- Phase-Separate Control — adjustable compensation voltage and speed, adapting to severely unbalanced loads.
- Multi-Function — reactive, harmonic, three-phase unbalance and precise voltage adjustment.
- Seamless Switching — switches to the grid on fault to keep load supply uninterrupted.
- Communication — RS485 interfaces (4G/Wi-Fi supported) for connection to a monitoring system.
Protection
Integrated protection covers overload, software/hardware overcurrent, grid overvoltage/undervoltage, overtemperature, phase loss, frequency anomaly and short circuit protection, improving the reliability of power supply.
Installation
Cabinet-type installation with forced air cooling. Protection rating is IP20 (IP54 customizable), noise level ≤70dB, and grid structure supports L/N+PE (single-phase) or three-phase four-wire + PE.
Applications
Suitable for industrial and commercial power systems requiring comprehensive power quality governance, particularly production sites sensitive to voltage sag/swell, harmonics and three-phase load unbalance.
