Description
Overview
The GY-ASVG-1U Rack-Mount Advanced Static Var Generator is a highly efficient power quality solution featuring a compact 1U thickness design. Engineered for modern power grids, this advanced static var generator connects a voltage source converter (VSC) in parallel to deliver real-time, comprehensive compensation for reactive current, harmonic current, and three-phase unbalanced active power. Its space-saving form factor allows for more units to be accommodated within a single cabinet, making it an excellent choice for high-density industrial and commercial applications.
Working Principle
The device continuously detects the load current in real time. Based on advanced detection and control algorithms for reactive power, harmonics, and three-phase active power, it generates corresponding IGBT drive signals. This enables precise compensation to maintain optimal power quality, stabilize the grid, and improve overall energy efficiency.
Key Features
- High-Density 1U Form Factor: The 1U thickness design significantly reduces footprint, allowing seamless integration into standard racks and maximizing cabinet space utilization.
- Multi-Module Parallel Support: Modular architecture allows for multi-module parallel connections with no quantity restrictions, facilitating easy maintenance and scalable capacity upgrades.
- Advanced Digital Control: Utilizes a DSP+CPLD full-digital control core combined with three-level topology technology and advanced PWM control strategies.
- Versatile Compensation Modes: Supports any single, dual, or triple combination of reactive power compensation, harmonic compensation, and three-phase unbalance compensation.
- Exceptional Performance: Delivers ≥99% reactive power compensation, ≥95% harmonic compensation (adjustable for 2nd to 50th harmonics), and reduces unbalance degree to ≤5% after compensation.
- Robust Reliability: Features 100% current-limiting output to ensure long-term stability, alongside comprehensive protection against overload, overcurrent, over/undervoltage, and resonance.
