Designed to release, inhibit, and reduce overcurrent and overvoltage caused by induced lightning strikes or grid system fluctuations, this 40kA DC surge protector ensures the maximum safety and longevity of your valuable solar electrical equipment.

In modern renewable energy setups, protecting the DC side of the installation is crucial. The GSP9-C40PV series can be seamlessly installed at various critical points within your solar architecture. It is highly recommended for installation between the solar panels and the charge controller, as well as between the controller and the solar inverter or other DC power supply ends. By utilizing high-energy MOV (Metal Oxide Varistor) technology, it provides a rapid response time of less than 25ns, instantly clamping voltage spikes to safe levels.
