Description

GRD9S-F100 IoT Smart MCB

The GEYA GRD9S-F100 is the basic, non-residual-current model in the GRD9S smart circuit breaker family. It combines miniature circuit breaker protection with electrical monitoring, wired communication and local or remote switching for low-voltage terminal distribution systems.

Monitoring and Protection

The catalogue lists real-time monitoring of voltage, current, power, power factor, energy and temperature. Protection functions for the basic model include overvoltage, undervoltage, overload, short-circuit and overcurrent protection.

  • Operation – Local manual or electric operation, remote control and timed switching.
  • Event visibility – Switch status, faults and alarms can be collected for system monitoring.
  • Protection boundary – F100 does not add the residual-current function identified by the L or R suffix.

RS485 Communication

The F100 model code specifies standard RS485 communication and Modbus support. This wired interface is intended for fixed equipment and building or industrial monitoring systems. Wireless communication belongs to the corresponding W, G or Z variant and should not be assumed for the base F100.

Ratings and Selection

Catalogue configurations cover 1P, 2P, 3P and 4P arrangements, B, C or D trip curves and a 6 kA standard breaking capacity. The technical table lists AC 230 V for 1P/2P and AC 400 V for 3P/4P at 50/60 Hz; confirm these values against the selected product marking.

Applications and Installation

The GRD9S series is intended for indoor low-voltage terminal distribution in industrial, commercial, residential and infrastructure projects. Install the selected device vertically on a 35 mm DIN rail and have wiring, commissioning and periodic testing completed by a qualified electrician.

Select the Correct GRD9S Variant

Choose the GRD9S-F100L smart RCBO when residual-current protection is required. Use a W-suffix model when the specification requires Wi-Fi in addition to RS485.
