For the Single Phase Monitoring, Voltage Relay Model is called GRV8-01 OR GRV8-02. It has 4 ranges supply voltage choices–DC12V, AC/DC24-48V, AC/DC110V-240V, AC220V. The voltage monitoring relay is an electronic type, 1SPDT output relay, rated current 10A/AC1, 18mm modular design, din rail mounted, a well-solved installation problem. It’s also very easy to operate the voltage relay, a user could select operation mode through potentiometers.

The Main function is protecting electrical equipment and motors from over voltage and under voltage, and normal or emergency power supply switching.

Overvoltage Monitoring Relay–If the measured voltage exceeds the maximum allowed value, the tripping delay time starts to run. As soon as voltage values return back below the defined level, the relays close again.

Undervoltage Monitoring Relay–If the measured voltage falls below the minimum allowed value, the tripping delay time starts to run. As soon as values return back above the defined level, the relays close again.

The under or overvoltage threshold value is set by a graduated potentiometer by reading the Unscale to be monitored directly. The hysteresis is set by a graduated potentiometer from 5 to 20 % of the preset threshold. The hysteresis value cannot be higher than the extremes of the measurement range.

In overvoltage mode, if the controlled voltage exceeds the preset threshold for longer than the time set on the front face (0.1 to 10 s), the output relay opens and LED R is extinguished. During the time delay, this LED flashes. Once the voltage falls below the threshold value minus the hysteresis, the relay closes instantaneously.

In under-voltage mode, if the controlled voltage falls below the preset threshold for longer than the time set on the front face (0.1 to 10 s), the output relay opens and LED R is extinguished. During the time delay, this LED flashes. Once the voltage rises above the threshold value plus the hysteresis, the relay closes instantaneously.

The 3 Phase Voltage Relay has 2 power supply 3-phase 3-wire or 3-phase 4-wire. For example, GRV8-03 (3-phase 3-wire) M460 means the voltage between L-L is 220V to 460V. GRV8-03(3-phase 4-wire) M265 means the voltage between L-N is 127V to 265V.

It’s also very easy to operate the voltage relay, a user could select operation mode through potentiometers. 3-phase voltage control relay is a protective device designed to ensure three-phase AC consumers operation in case of supply voltage unacceptable fluctuations, phase failure and electrical imbalance, clumping, and phase sequence disruption.
